Yi Jin Jing, also known as the "Muscle and Tendon Change Classic," is a traditional Chinese Qigong practice that focuses on strengthening muscles and tendons while enhancing flexibility. It is rooted in the Shaolin martial arts tradition and has since been standardized. This form is designed to improve the flow of Qi (vital energy) throughout the body. The practice combines physical movements with breath control and mental focus, making it suitable for practitioners of all levels.
Practicing Yi Jin Jing improves sinew and bone strength, and fascial flexibility, it enhances the flow of Qi by opening energetic pathways in the body, and promotes relaxation and mental clarity by harmonizing the breath with movement.
